Mullaghameen Forest is the largest planted beech forest in Europe, Fore Village and area are steeped in history, Tullynally Castle & Gardens, with walks, home of renowned author Lord Pakenham and his wife; Derrycassin Forest just across in County Longford, Lough Crew on the other side in Co. Meath, Belvedere House & Gardens in nearby Mullingar, the Royal Canal, Barronstown and many, many more.

Boherquill is situated between Mullingar and Longford, both towns having golf, swimming, cinemas, theatres, hotels, restaurants, night clubs and of course top class shops and stores all within 30km.

Tullynally Castle & Gardens

Tullynally has been the home of the Pakenham’s later Earls of Longford, for over 350 years. Still lived in as the family home, one of the largest in Ireland .
